ISM was first hired by Harley-Davidson as a consultant to help extend their brand into the travel category. Our internet-based strategy combined existing services like bike rental with new services like ride ratings, to eventually give enthusiasts the ability to book travel around the world online. ISM was then asked to package, market and promote these new enthusiast services to hard-core Harley lovers.
Results have more than validated the concept. A hotel offering for the annual rally in Sturgis saw nearly 1,000 roomnights booked. Bike rentals and shipping are up big time. The ride-rating concept already has gained Best Western as an official partner with others lining up to join.
